Made in Nikko, in the Tochigi prefecture.
The dragon is painted on a thick paper to prevent alteration by time, temperature variation and humidity.
The painting is shipped flat, not rolled, and carefully protected to guaranty it reaches you in perfect condition.

The painting was quite beautiful. Colors weren’t maybe as saturated/vibrant, but I actually prefer the more neutral tones that the painting had. I marvel at the painting every time I come across it, even though I bought it as a gift.
